Kairos is an iOS app that swoops in when phone use turns compulsive and guides you out of the digital loop, with a personal challenge at the kairotic moment.

Where we are: We've wireframed every screen, built the brand, mapped the technical architecture, and lined up 100 beta users. Now we're building the engineering team to bring it to life, starting with a TestFlight beta.

Why we need you: You'll own the full stack and turn our architecture into a working product: the app, the data layer, the LLM and memory pipeline behind each intervention, and the logic that decides which challenge to offer, all built to scale well beyond our first 100 users. We're looking for someone who has shipped consumer apps end to end and built backends that held up under real users.

What you'd get: Ownership of the technical decisions behind a product that helps people reclaim agency over their time, and a path to founding equity.

You might be a fit if

How it works

You'll work closely with me on product and with our iOS specialist on Screen Time and HealthKit. We start with a short paid trial task, then a paid contract. If it's working for both of us, it converts to a founding engineer role with meaningful equity. Compensation is cash plus equity; we'll discuss ranges on our first call.
